As a Freshman (2007-08): Medical redshirt during the 2007-08 campaign, spending the season rehabbing and strengthening her right knee ... suffered a knee injury during her senior season at St. Michael's Academy.
Before Maryland: Lettered four years in basketball at St. Michael Academy as a guard ... ranked the No. 3 among point guards in the class of 2007 and 11th overall by the All-Star Girls Report ... led the Lady Eagles to a 22-5 record as a senior, advancing to the Catholic Schools New York State semifinals ... Parade Magazine third team All-American at the conclusion of her prep career ... a three-time Street & Smith's Honorable Mention All-American (2004-06) and a three-time Class AA all-state pick as selected by the New York State Sportswriters Association (NYSSWA), earning a spot on the first team as a senior ... picked a USA Today Freshman All-American in 2004 ...
